　　There are plenty of people who worry about language change. England seems to be full of people who write to the newspapers and the BBC complaining about the way in which the language is becoming corrupt, without appearing to realize that the way they speak themselves is the result of thousands of years of language change. They complain about 'Americanisms' and about 'corruption' in the English langueage, as well as about 'bad gramme.' These complaints are a very interesting phenomenon, and one that seems to be repeated in every generation for every language. Although language change is natural and therefore inevitable, there always seems to be a minority of people who speak the language in question who do not like this process. There is of course nothing that they can really do about language change, but they continue to complain all the same.

入試では、下線部を和訳する問題が出ました。
